WOULD YOU LOOK GOOD IN PRISON GARB?
Surviving commercial disputes in Taiwan : reducing the risks – or at least seeing them coming

A collective presentation by
Yang Ming Partners Law Firm

The legal process for resolving commercial disputes in Taiwan is fraught with risks for both sides. What is essentially a civil action may come to involve criminal charges and the consequent risk of jail time for company principals – hence our scary, but appropriate, headline. Participate in this session to find out how best to avoid that unpleasant possibility.

Yangming Partners is a full-service law firm representing clients in legal matters of a cross-border nature related to Taiwan. Yangming Partners' attorneys have extensive experience in a broad range of practice areas, including cross-border investment, corporate formation and registration, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, construction and other infrastructure projects, banking and securities regulation, competition law, intellectual property law and commercial litigation and arbitration (civil and criminal).
