TBLF goes out of town
There will be visits to interesting and significant business locations - cities, counties, companies – outside Taipei city.  The main purpose is to give TBLF Members a close look at companies and organizations that display excellence in what they do and are key players in Taiwan’s economy. That said, there will also be the opportunity for some socializing and sightseeing. Each visit will usually be hosted by a city or county government or company and in that case the cost to TBLF Members will be minimal.

Up close and personal
From time to time we will invite prominent people from Taiwan’s public and private sectors for an informal meeting with TBLF Members at which they will share their  business philosophy and views on current economic issues.

Operational notes

  • Meeting date, content and venue will be confirmed by a first email notice not less than 15 working days prior. Reminder notices will follow.

  • Attendance is normally confirmed by completing and returning the reply form. If that’s not possible, we’re happy to take a phone call or email note. We also won’t mind if you just show up on the day.

  • Refreshments will be simple : tea, coffee and cookies.

  • Meetings will follow the Chatham House Rule* – those present are free to use the information resulting from the meeting but, in any recording or transcript, speakers (other than those already mentioned to publicize the meeting) will not be identified by name.

  • Check this out at www.chathamhouse.org.uk
